Modern and innovative products are characterized by their recyclability, especially their ability to be reused after their first product cycle. This first recycling step can be eased already by an adequate product desgin (no mixed plastics systems). To enable total circular properties at all in sense of EU Circular Economy Directive it needs a proper product design from the very beginning.

Following guidelines can be outlined to be very important:

• minmal use of pigments (each pigment will cause darker colors in the next product life)
• single polymer solutions (no foreign polymers or even other materials, as far as they cannot be separated very easily!)
• product labelling with stickers out of same polymer material (no paper stickers or PVC-lables on PP sheets)
